⚠️ 易错点 / 近义词辨析
- identify vs. recognize
“recognize” 更偏“曾经见过，现在又认出来”；“identify” 更强调“通过线索、特征去确定”，即使你以前没见过也能 identify。例：I recognized my old classmate immediately（认出一位老同学）。The police identified the thief from the fingerprint（警方通过指纹确定小偷）。 - identify with 容易错成 identify to
没有 “identify to” 这种搭配。说“认同某人”一定是 identify with someone。另外 “be identified with” 可以表示“被视为与……紧密相关”，但初中高中阶段优先掌握 identify with。 - 及物动词！后面直接宾语
不能说 “identify to something”，要直接说 identify the problem / identify a suspect。
